My Official 12,000th Post Thread

Well, thanks to my good friend Mike and the miracles of the interwebz, I was given a Mulligan and able to relive this, my 12,000th post.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of the friends and dysfunctional family I have met over the last 10 years and 12,000 posts!

I have very fond memories of first getrting the Marauder some ten years ago (almost to the day) and planning and building it up. Then it was on to places like Ennis and meeting great people (Maury!!!!!!!!) and many other friends and having the addiction fully set in. Then there was Hershey (Mary!!!!!!!!!) and many other local gatherings.

The Marauder and the community literally changed my life. If you asked me ten years ago if I saw myself leaving NY to go to Georgia to build my dream garage and run a speed shop, I would have said you were crazy, but here I am!

So to those that say that the Marauder is just a car and mm.net is just a website, I say :censor: !!!!

I am looking forward to MVXI here in the ATL and meeting even more of the firends and dysfunctional family I have not yet met!

When you said you couldn't come to Ennis because you couldn't take enough time off to drive down and back-----the rest is history;) I will always have fond memories of that time and your pure awe and enthusiasm for everything Marauder. Life seems to have it's way of bringing about drastic change through a few chance words. Keep your fingers crossed for me---I am making serious plans to come to MVille--as a last resort I will fly in--but only after everything else fails.. I want to see the House that MartyO built and meet your wonderful gal. I'll even buy your breakfast at Waffle House.. Save me a chair in the corner of the shop. See you soon, Maury:burnout::beer:
