Factory Tint %?

Anyone know the percentage of the factory tint on our cars? Sorry FBM, Google was not my friend with this one :D

I was thinking of getting my windows tinted. I'm still unsure about RI tint laws. ALOT of resources say 30% max, others say none at all. Also seems most of the websites stating 30% allowed ate the tint businesses LOL. Still researching.

Anyway, I'm thinking there's maybe 2-3% tint from factory, then the most I'd be able to put on is 25%. Just wondering if that small amout of tint would even be worth it. Anyone have 25% tint pic to post?

Just call any tint shop in town. They'll know what will work with your factory glass and stay legal for the state. If you want to know for sure look up your local dmv code.

75% ask me how I know how. Do 35% on the windows and it'll come out to around 28%. As much as I've been pulled over for tint I know these things. Smh

Tint numbers work backwards, 25% tint(dark) lets in 25% of the light, 75%(hardly noticeable) lets in 75% of the light...
