Spot on Joe.... Don't get that at all. Now if there was a more expensive car that they wanted to draw from, I somewhat understand. Going down to grab from the Camaro is a mistake imho.... Like the rest of the car tho.

All the angles and tail lights look like they came from the "little Cadillac" (STS?) styling but the tail end looks too short from the side........stop the video around 6:32 and it looks whacked off.....not sure I like it??:cool:

Yep....looks like they "Gremlined" the back of the new Vette......:shake:
They should go find the 8" section that they wacked off, and put it back on the tail of the car!

The new vett is to appeal to a younger generation,But can new buyers afford a 60 or 70 grand car.The price was unknown but will be very high.:eek:

I think the 2014 Shelby 500kr is the better car.

The last two iterations of the 'vette had that same stubby rear end...looks like someone backed it into a wall at 60 MPH then left it that way...but this one is even more severe.

I love my C6 BUT I will buy a C7 in a few years after initial bugs are worked out. It looks different then previous Corvettes but it is not ugly, just different from earlier Corvettes. The base C7 is already reported to go less then 4 seconds 0-60.
I think they hit a home run and when the magazines start testing it and doing comparisons it will be clearer.
Wait till the Z06 and ZR1 models come out in a year or two.

the interior looks sweet with one exception. why in the **** cant they make 4 matching AC vents? or atleast 2 matching pairs?! all 4 are different and look so *****y! the outside looks like poop, and it wont even do 200mph with all tha fancy smancy vents and what not? the shelby looks like a brick in comparison and does 200... also has a back seat

After seeing the car on the BJ selling block, I've got a more positive opinion, but, the taillights, unless they look better in the "flesh", don't look that great, IMHO.

Dash has a nice wrap around look, but I'm not in favor of two toned dashes.

Hate to be the detailer that has to buff out that car!!!!! All those edges will make it a nightmare!

Good luck to the body shops that will be fixing them in the future. It is going to be tough to line all those lines up after an accident....
