So I have been thinking of selling my 87 Buick Grand National, 85K original miles, Second owner, Mint condition, or Trade for an 03-04 Cobra.

What are your thoughts ?

Both awesome cars but I think a Cobra with a stick shift and gobs of power possibilities would be awesome.

Considering my car is worth about 25k+ id assume thats pretty good. Gn might be like 14k with 85k miles. At least thats what ive seen them go for. So I dont know where the joke was.

Only reason to sell is the need for cash. I personally wouldnt spend too much on another american car from any year below 2005. Id love to have a gn but I love money more and im need of it haha beautiful car though

Abe,

Dont you already have a Mustang....like a Boss?

Cause I would hate to see the GN go....especially since I just bought you a nice little hotwheels size GN about a week or so ago.

Well Mike, since you got me a gift of the GN maybe I should keep it! I don't know man! it's hard to keep a GM in a family of Fords. But we will see. Thanks for the gift

If you are not partial to the Turbo Regal's and what they are/stand for then sell it. The Turbo Regal's have kept my attention for almost 13 years now and never cease to amaze me. I have owned 3 different turbo cars but have kept my 1st (and nicest one) since 2000. With your mods and a good tune you have a solid high 11 second car there which is no slouch. My current car has been through a few different combinations but has always responded very well. It still remains a completely stock block, heads never off, and the only internal change is a comp cams 206/206. You can see in my sig what the car has run with a smaller turbo and injectors. Currently I am running pump gas and methanol and about 29 pounds of boost and the car is an absolute monster.

On a side note I understand wanting to change cars. However its tough to find a really nice Turbo Regal that hasnt been completely abused. Just factor that in when you decide. For what its worth, my buddy that had 2 or 3 Turbo Regal's for 15 years sold his and bought an 03 Cobra, slapped a whipple on it and a bunch of other stuff, made 700hp to the tire and runs mid 12s at 130 plus............... now he is looking for another GN!

Good luck with your decision, nice car man.

Your wife asked Rosa to send her some chile' powder to put on her fruit, cause appearently there is nothing up there that you can get down here, so we will send you a care package and I'll put the GN in the box.

Mike
