I saw the preview of the NASCAR 3-D Imax in Virginia Beach back in November 2003. It was just a 3 minute short at the beginning of the Virginia Sciece Museum "undersea" IMAX. However, it was a great lead-in with lots of close-up and personal shots at near 200 mph. How they got some of the shots is incredible. The 3-D is in your face and the sound was like RIR in the first row of turn 3. After getting all fired up to see NASCAR, I had to spend the next 45 minutes checking out the fishies in 3-D. Not the same at all. Can't wait to see the full version .............
