As most of you know, I have been caring for my Father in Law and then handling the estate after his 12/25/12 passing.
I have been home maybe 5 weeks since SSHS
What I haven't shared is my wife's health.
She began having trouble choking on food and liquids about 6 months ago and hasn't been able to accompany me while caring for her father and affairs.
During his illness and my absence she has begun having panic attacks now.
We have been through CT scans, MRIs and swallow studies.
Turns out she has a bone spur in her cervical spine facing forward and crushing her esophagus.
We also found 3 badly degenerated discs during all of the tests.
We are putting her in the hospital on 2/20 for surgery. After that we are looking at a 6-8 week recovery.
Gary gets to be Mr Mom again..
Like I said in another post today , sometimes life gets pretty complicated.
