Hey all -- I dropped a supercharger in my 2004 and am now moving on to paint. Am considering the 2.5" cowl hood from class glass performance. I've seen multiple posts about this and am wondering what the quality on the hood is like. Does the curve match the fenders well? Any trouble painting it? Is it durable? Any advice/experience much appreciated.

I would save your money, unless you have a buddy in the body shop business. The hood will need fitting, and quite a bit of work to make it "nice". Mine's back at the body shop getting fixed, you could see every spot that the factory epoxied the inner structure to the outer. If this doesn't fix it, I'll post up the video of me shooting the pi$$ out of it (off the car of course).

Then again, maybe your not as picky as me..............

They do require a ton of work to have them look good. The fitment is ok, but not great. I dont mind as I dont have a show car but it will cost a pretty penny to get it looking great as was said before. I love the look of it however and I like it much better than stock.

Thanks spectagod and shofast. This is what I feared. I'll pass on it for now.

What they said. Not perfect, but what on the car is? It has to match right?

Barry, I am skeptical that it will ever be right, I'm just trying to decide what I am going to use to blow holes in it......;)

I do not, I can say that my gaps all looked good, the rest looked like hell.
