my car has no business mingling with the powers that be on this track, however I would love to come out as a spectator & cheer on my fellow Marauders!
putting this on the calendar now...

I was there as a spectator. List of people that were there(sorry if i missed your name): Seneca, merc, shermanator, blown3.8, jflave, tony(speed?), and im sure im missing one or two. Sherm and chris were having trouble with the tune all day, but jflave really impressed me with a best time of 11.006@129(verification needed via jflave). He was trying to hit 10's all day but it just didn't happen. Jflave came in second place in his class only losing to a chevelle i think. Chevelle was running mid to low 10's...and got that thing vertical one race and almost lost it. Jflave, your car is bad azz and im glad to meet you in person, next year i think youll bring home the big trophy. Congratulations!

http://mamn12.com/forum/Smileys/default/dirol.gifYeah I think its pretty safe to say it is easily making 700+ rwhp at a 4410 race weight.
And Sherm's trans was not shifting. But think I made some good headway on the MAF curve.

I would go up on blower pulley 2.90 then 10% overdrive it will help the get go lots. Then 3800 stall from circle D or FTI and hello 1.6x 60 foot and mid tens. Just look at Larry's car 150rwhp less and 11.30@120mph. John dont fear the stall!

Nice to see everyone, ran in two heads up classes & made a lot of passes. The car was coming on strong & made four 11.0 passes in a row with the best of the day was 11.006 @ 128.98. Finished 2nd in Big Dog & 1st in Pro Street it was fun. ( Landy) Chris & i will make some changes down the road its just fun right now :). I think Mark did a video of one of passes that he will post. Have a happy Easter.

As whitey mentioned, this ^^^ Chevelle was a BEAST - Stood a wheelie and bounced the car off the back bumper - Came down and bent his front bumper and broke a tranny mount - He raced the next round.
jflave takes the Pro Street Final against a really cool and consistent 63 Wagon with a 2 x 4 Max Wedge (Engine pic posted):

The CV had a OEM cobra block and heads with a Kenny Bell blower. Nice paint job also. Not sure about the 11.5s he was up and down the 11 second mark. :)
