Well, to be fair, she has nearly run over her pit crew numerous times. I don't know if the others are trying to make women jokes, but I haven't been particularly inspired by her driving in the past. Good for her though that she's in pole position, regardless of being a female.

I wonder how many time her position on the pole will change. It would suck if she started at the top of the pole and never moved up or down, that wouldn't be very exciting. Need to mix it up a little or it will just be a boring 4 hours. I want to be her gas-man, so I can yell "You like that?!" everytime I jam...nevermind.

Butt seriously, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame (Marauderville trip) there were pictures of a couple few female racers, and one did quite well if I remember correctly.

Congrats to Danica on her qualifying, she has paid her dues, has the talent and good on her. Actually Im more happy that my Wood Brothers have posted the third highest speed (the fastest Ford) and that locks them into the race. Hopefully Bayne can keep the car out of trouble in the duels because ye olde 21 (painted/wrapped like Tiny Lund's car) is very fast and has a good shot at victory lane.
