hello mm's, new member here so i thought id get my story/build out there. i recently purchased my child hood dream p71 and have been introduced into the panther world. recently my p71 (now lawn ornament) had a break down where a heater hose running from the intake (plenum) to the firewall has burst. not so much the hose but where the hose connects to into the plenum. i am currently trying a tap and dye quick fix but have just now discovered the marauder 4.6 to be a lot better than my own. so i had the idea of putting the whole marauder intake onto my 4.6. i know the marauder has different ohc and valve than mine so i need some knowledge as to if i can make this work. im not looking to make a marauder clone more like a p71 with a marauder heart on a grand marquis budget if any one can help it would be very much appreciated
also sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum

Don't think it will fit.
2V vs 4V... alot of things won't fit.

Won't work, best bet is to get one out of a junkyard. Lots of panthers in the yards.

Yes you can make it fit, you just have to put a 4V engine underneath it.

4v and 2v intakes are not interchangeable, ask me how I know!

Not even close.
Be careful if you get one from a junkyard. Inspect the coolant crossover carefully. If it's composite (plastic), leave it..you're buying a time bomb. If it's metal, go for it.

^^^ Marauders crossovers aren't part of the intake manifold. IIRC there are plenty of 2v Panther sites out there for this guy to go to for 2v advice.

Cobras, Mark VIII's, Mach 1's, Aviator.

Marauders crossovers aren't part of the intake manifold. I'm aware of that. I was adding to Racer X's comment above where he told the OP to get a replacement 2V manifold at a junkyard.

And I was merely pointing out that there are other sites for 2v talk, this is a MM site.
No hard feelings, OP don't use Conti block, they were FWD, RWD transmission will not bolt up. Timing cover is also very different. Heads are fine to use though.
