Looked under the car this afternoon and noticed the bottom portion of the rear bumper cover has two brackets mounted on either end of the cover and are attached to the frame of the car. The middle section of the frame has a little bracket type piece welded there and has a hole drilled in it...
Almost as if there was supposed to be a support there?

The two supports attach to the bottom of the cover via small lip mounting tabs molded into the bottom of the cover, the middle section of the cover doesn't have a designated lip.

Anyone know why they would have this piece a part of the frame if they didn't utilize it to support the middle section of the cover?

Here a panarama from left to right of the inside of the rear bumper cover as it is on the car:

Seems like a good place to mount a bracket to attach to the middle of the cover to fix the sagging.
