I guess this is when he was still known as Richard Penniless and I believe that's a cover by Louis Jordan, I have it on record. You might know one of his songs "Let the good times roll" from The Blues Brothers when they are sitting in Elwoods apartment listening to the trains go by.
I would assume this had to have been filmed in the early 40s when the war was still going on.
Thank you so much for that post. Little Richard is playing a huge concert in vegas in a few weeks with the king of the surf guitar... Dick Dale. I wish I could go. I already saw Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley on his last tour. Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis are on my list... even if watching them perform is a sad site compared to anything they did in the mid 1950s.

I sent the video to someone and told me this is a myth. This is not Little Richard.
