I finally found the first version of this song Joan Jett did in 1979 with The Sex Pistols! Her known version is from 1982 I believe and a lot do not know this is NOT her song.

Not hi/jacking this thread, but this lady could sing (4 octave voice), was sexy, but, unfortunately, has passed away.
