A hammer, a vice grip, and a roll of duct tape will fix durn near anything...

That's an expansion crack. All HP pistons are manufactured with them... ;)

Blew the plug out of #3 while passing on the highway, tore out the threads and demolished the coil. Their aftermarket warranty company wanted to helicoil the head and ship it. So I did, got it running, knock knock knock. Been dealing with this company 2 more times to get approval to tear down, got the head off and found #3 piston didn't sit flush with the deck, outboard side was about 4mm lower. Pulled that bank apart and found this. Now waiting on BS warranty company to send their guy to come look and decide what they want to replace, they don't take our word for it.

Oh yeah it's a 3.0 4V from a Lincoln Zephyr. First time I've actually seen anything major with one of those.
