Jeff Gordon goes undercover with an unsuspecting car salesman and takes him on a test drive. Results are hysterical.

It would be better if it was real.

Best test drive ever. Didn't know JG but I high five him for that. That employee will never take a test drive lightly again

I felt like I was the only one who thought it was fake and corny... I figured at the very least Gordon was the driver... nope.

Car is a fake v8, salesman is an actor, driver isn't Jeff Gordon

Is it weird that I would have been OK with that?

Would have made for a boring commercial. :)

HA!

I was wondering about the cup holder sense it looked like something you buy at Autozone.... did Jeff bring his own cup holder for the test drive??? Also I could see it was a V6 body, maybe they just put the sound clip from a V8 in there. I would think there were hidden cameras, but the one on the front bumper for a few shots... putting a camera on a car like that without the salesman asking what's going on... yeah not buying the reality they were trying to sell.

Finally, Jeff not doing the driving. Of course he didn't do it, he's too valuable. That's why there are stunt doubles in movies, not just because they know how to perform the stunts, but if they get hurt the star is fine and no one cares about the stuntman.

Is anything in entertainment honest? The more you look into production, you more allusions you find. :shake:
