it's cute how the Irish have one day out of the year to celebrate & drink while Germans have a whole month!

Germans and their "purity laws", putting citizens first since 1516. Seems legit.

Actually the pubs are closed on St Pats day in Ireland, so I was told when I was there. Actually received a lecture from a guy on it being a holy, not a party day. Now that was 25 years ago, so maybe its changed.

Yeah, their purity laws in the 30's and 40's created a little friction with the international community...

Who cares if it's got fish bladder in it. My doctor says I need more Omega-3's in my diet anyway.

I was out there on a saturday night. What a mad house. The Guarda were filling up paddy wagons as quickly as they could. Dump that load, come back for another. I just shook my head...

I've had haggis i think it's great.
Guiness is ok too but given the choice i'd rather eat haggis than drink guiness.

I love Guiness.

I've gotten so accustomed to it that I sometimes can't stand drinking domestic beers...
