Interesting afternoon. Driving along and the left rear tire loses all its lugnuts... Damn Jaguar/Lincoln POS! New tires and wheels on order. To be professionally installed at Silver City Tire this time. Will now have $4,000+ in repairs in the last few months... That is strike 2 1/2 as I knew it needed new wheels. Wheres the Makers Mark, I need a stiff drink!

We were a jag dealer for a while and sold the CRAP out of lug nuts for LS and the S types..or stypes.
Jag wanted like 23 bucks per lug nut...I miss selling those jag parts$$$ can't say I miss jag that much tho.

Ps...sell your bastard child Lincoln now

I was just trying to save Barry from buying another car that he would sink way too much money into, I am concerned for him.........;)

Thats the problem, I have too much into it already to just dump it. Freaking thing sits most of the time because of how costly 93 is here. One of the problems we had the tech said was because we were letting it sit too much. Now I have to find one lug nut somewhere. I already had to replace all of them once. Oh well, one more half strike and I will dump it. The Mrs can carry on all she wants about her toy. I'm the guy paying for it. :mad2:

Ha, looked at my Tirerack invoice and they are sending lugs. Problem solved.

How did all the lug nuts on that wheel just fall off by themselves?

How did all the lug nuts on that wheel just fall off by themselves?

Last time the car was worked on they didn't tighten them. Problem is two different shops did work involving the wheels. No way to say which one did it. Pretty sure I know, but how to prove it? Plus both shops knew the wheels (OEM) were on their last use. Both had advised me to get new this spring. I thought it was strange that all 5 would drop off at once. Since yesterday two people I talked with had the same thing happen, all the lugs at once. :dunno:
Very lucky it dropped just onto the wheel as we were stopping to check it. Had the new suspension dropped onto the pavement... :puke: As of now it appears no damage was done other than to the wheel. Hoping it stays that way when the new parts arrive and I take them for install next week.

Ah...gotcha. When you said "damn Jaguar/Lincoln POS" I thought maybe it was some known defect in the platform.
