Have some faith son!

The first day of spring is right around the corner!

There's still time for the weather to break! :sunshine:

I concur with Doom, it will break spring in about 8 days, the Louisville meet will be 64 all weekend with highs of 73. Doom and I will be under the canopy

In the past we've had rain, but usually it's pretty decent.

I wouldn't worry about snow, at least in Looseville.

Just a heads up...this past saturday hit @70 degrees and sun shinin. Sunday it was cold, sleeting, raining and yes snowing. If you don't like the weather...just stick around, it'll change shortly;)

Looks like most areas east of the Mississippi are going to be colder than normal for the next two weeks. :(

However, it looks like temps will begin to warm up the same weekend as the Looseville meet.

One year at L-ville we had hail and tornado warnings. Glad we found that mega-church with the overhead parking.

I remember that. Someone in the crowd yelled "Does anyone play the Sloppy Blues?" and you tore the roof off that piece.

Don't forget the year that we went to Mammoth Cave and the Corvette factory... It was 89 degrees all three days, end of March. A week or two later, Home opener in Cleveland (Indians), snowed out.

If this years meet is in the same local, the location of this refuge needs to be mapped and handed out to all attendees in case of a sequal event!!!

When visiting my parents shortly after purchasing my SS the gas station canopy down the road saved me from a disaster.

This event needs to be moved to the 3rd week of April next year. The weather is warmer then. Just sayin' :snowman:

Scheduling this is always tough for Mike as its squeezed between Easter, Thunder of Louisville and the Derby, which leaves one weekend rooms are available and it moves every month

But hey, that should not stop us from second guessing him like its done every year

I'm not second guessing him, but why can't he get the Kentucky Derby to change their schedule for us?

kentucky weather its the most unpredictable...Saturday I believe it was supposed to be raining...after the clouds parted around 12:30 the temp got close to mid 50s...playing russian rullette is more predictable than the weather here...I'm sure Mike does the best he can trying to decide between the coming festivities...plus like others have said...weather, what weather...

To quote Forrest: "weather is as weather does"!

Nothing can be done about it so we'll make the best of it.

My only concern was driving on snow with big meat summer tires and salt. I went through a lot of personal sacrafice to park BB2 during the salt time. I am 2nd owner, 1st garaged it from new. When I got it it went thru 1 winter and that was hard on the under side so when I got New Blue (F150) I decided to park her for the bad period of winter.

No matter, just looking to hang with mm.net peeps! :beatnik:

No problem Dude. Weather will be fine once you get south of the snow belt.

That's the problem!!!

This time of year the snow belt ends at Memphis - Louisville is north of Memphis... :shake:

Fingers crossed for a "belt-lift" for Louisville meet! :D

You will be fine. We ran into snow one year in western Maryland, in the mountains. After that it was clear all the way to L-ville.

It is always idea to have great weather at one of the meets. That said there is really nothing that can be done:) So caryy on and hope they snow is not falling when you leave home. Like Joe stated they do have car wash's in Looseville, if you can't find in Mike would be more than happy to hand wash your car:up:

I passed a salt truck last night in North Carolina while I was heading back from Florida. Damn thing was slinging salt, sounded like a hail storm hitting the Marauder.
