Help get my band recorded.

We launched this Kickstarter today. We are recording in Nashville in less than a month and we are doing what we can to get there. On the link you can find a way to help with as little as $2 or as much as $10,000.

You aren't simply donating, you get materials in return to help us along.

You will find out what we are all about on the website. Biggest influences are Chuck Berry, Ramones, The Coasters, Jerry Lee Lewis, Sex Pistols, etc.

We already raised hundreds of dollars in less than an hour! :)

If we raise enough we will record a full album, right now we are set on an EP of five original songs.

Anything and everything helps.

I prefer the sound of a Gibson, but a Fender is just easier for me to play. With the thinner body and neck.

well yes, Ive grown accustomed to these guitars due to the fact that whenever I search craigslist for a MERCURY Marauder, theres always a ton of those :rolleyes: :P That and the fact that my dad plays guitar and had one

Here is what is going on.

Everything was done on time, but something was not right. It turns out the guitar did not have the right sound, plus I did it though a D.I. to save time.

I worked out a deal with the engineer to re-record all guitar for free, as long as I would fix his Dodge. I did that and he was upset to see how cheap the repairs actually were. He thought I was going to be spending $1,000 brakes, a tune up, mirror.... little things. When he saw it was $75 here, $35 there and it would take me less than an hour to do the work, he felt like it was not a fair trade off.

So, on top of fixing the Dodge, I had to throw an extra $$$ to free up the songs. I wanted to do this under contract, but I was told this was not necessary. Yeah, how wrong he was.

Finally, things will be up on tuesday for download and CDs on the 26th.

I am working on it.

The bands manager wants to get us 10,000 likes on facebook within a year and a show case. A show case is when we audition for a major label. We have the playability, now we need the following to prove we are worth the investment. We raised over $5,300 from fans to record, I think we have a really good shot of pulling this off!
