All,
Is there anyone that works at a Ford parts place that can help me find the right part number for something? My dad has a 2001 F250, 4x4 (manual shift/manual hubs), 6.8 V10, and it has a bad GEM / BCM.
Rockauto has reman'ed ones - they have 4 listed based on the original part # - but none that match the part # I pulled.
I checked parts online from Ford parts retailers and couldnt find the part # match.
Best I found were used ones on EBay...
So we need to replace this, but dont know what to buy.
Heres a picture of the GEM part #, note it states 4x2 which is wrong, but the truck does have manual non-pushbutton 4wd so the GEM could care less.

Any thoughts on what to buy? Different model #s exist based on trim and options. This 2001 F250 is stripped - atx, but manual 4wd, no keyless entry, manual windows and locks, manual lights, etc. should be a basic GEM and also not need programming, just dont know which to buy.

I also checked 2000 model year and f350 and f450s but no match there.
Any help on a new part # to refrrence or which on rockauto to buy will help. Basically the truck drains batteries bc the ac fans and dome light work and stay on even with the key out. Batt is disconnected to spare it :)
