This is the time the Snowbirds leave Florida for points North.
I had the misfortune of an early morning meeting in Tampa that didn't end until noon.
The trip from Tampa to my house west of Jacksonville normally takes less than 3 hours, this one was a shade over 5 and a half hours.
The sheer volume of traffic overwhelmed the road, I can just imagine what Atlanta is like right now.

I-95 north of Savannah,Ga. to the 45 mile marker in S.Carolina was backed up quite a bit on Saturday as well. I'm glad I was driving the other way.

Final Four in the ATL this weekend too.... Then the ramp up for the Masters begins next weekend...... Lots of folks stay in Atlanta for a couple of days and trek to Augusta for a couple........

Left Ocala, FL for Fayetteville NC this morning. What should have been around a 7 hour run turned into a 10 hour run today.

Welcome to my world. I live on the outskirts of Sun City Center, The brooding grounds for the white legged, black sock, sandal wearing, slo driving, left blinker on snow bird.
