I've known about a lot of gasoline engines but I never heard of this one until yesterday.
Yes,it was for real. It sure wasn't a hot rod motor though.
Can you imagine the fun Doom would have blinging up one of these? :lol:

One of the local boatyards in Mattapoisett MA cobbled up a little 305 V6 GMC-powered tow motor for moving boats. I watched that tiny thing pull around huge fishing boats without even breaking a sweat. I can only imagine what the V12 version was like...
