On Saturday I was just finishing up washing my car when my neighbor came by. She was excited to tell me there was a car show nearby with a number of beautiful old cars.
I put my Show Board in the trunk and drove over to the Car Show. I parked and walked through the show. There were a lot of custom hot rods with exceptional craftsmanship. I asked about registering and they were very cordial. They told me it was the first Kiwanis Car Show.
I got back in my car and drove by when I saw a gold Crown Vic with an Eaton sticking out the hood. That made it clear I had to enter the show.
I parked next to him and we quickly struck up a conversation.
It is a Lightning transplant with a 6 speed manual. He had just gotten it out of the paint shop. He bought the car from a Marauder owner.
It was a gorgeous day to be "Car Crazy" and for a good cause.
