Absolutely horrifying, someone will pay. I'm glad that my friends and family in the Boston area seem to be okay albeit shaken.
My brother just left for Afghanistan again today too.

Those poor people.
I refuse to constantly live in fear..blech. Nobody gets out of life alive. Get em if you can but don't bankrupt human rights or the national treasury to do it.

I've heard that there was one found under the grandstand at Fenway, and another under the grandstand at the Marathon. Cell service has been shut down to prevent remote detonation of devices

Sad day.
I think it's a Timothy McViegh type deal.
And so it begins.
Again.

The JFK fire has been confirmed by the director of the Library as electrical in nature. Not related, just bad timing

Not to turn the mood but these have been classified as "Explosions" only right now, half the media is going crazy by saying mass bombings are about to start and the other half are being correct as nothing has been confirmed that any man made devices caused these as of just yet.
None the less this is a horrific thing that happen and very sad.

This is hitting close to home. I'm not at the race this year but in previous years, would have been just a couple of blocks away from the finish line.
Google has created a person finder:

Cell service has been shut down in the area.

If deliberate, no trial, only executions of the guilty will be justice...

How about we keep those injured and killed in our thoughts and leave the conjecture and speculation aside, please? I will continue to delete posts as I see fit.....

Fort Hood, Benghazi and now Boston.
We are very fortunate that many more were not killed or harmed in Boston.
Godspeed for the injured.

Agreed, but the McVeigh type picks a target to make a statement.
Other than just mayhem, what statement does it make to blow up random spectators at this event ? Something's missing IMO.

What's wrong is there is no Morality left in Humankind! With kids having kids how in the heck are they going to teach their kids if they them selves are still learning. It's sad sad times we live in....
