Last weekend i had to go back to the Ford Dealer to drop off my old/bad alternator. So after i drop it off and get my core charge, i decided to walk around the lot. From the other side of the lot I noticed a tow truck driver and a mechanic glancing at my car.
I yelled over asking if i need to move my car. They said no, they was only looking at the car. Saying that its nice. I joked asking how much you want the car for. One of them asked are your seriously selling it? lol i said hell no, was only joking.
Then i told them that i supercharged. I opened the hood so that they can look at the motor.
One of them even started takes pics of it. Both of them drooled all over it. :lol:

It's awesome isn't it? Had my Trans looked at under warranty and almost everyone in the place opened the door and looked at the car. Good feeling for a 10 year old 100k junker 😜

That's awesome!

A guy just came over to measure for carpet in my house, looks at my car and says "wow! That's a sweet crown vic, mines a 98 but not as cool as yours!"

Lol...I'm just like"thanks" :)

Get used to it. The older these get, more and more people actually know what they are now. Seems no matter where I go I get looks, comments, pics taken from other cars, always something.

Best line that was told to me was at a stop getting gas and old man came in and said : SON is that you car if so take good care of her you got a one of a kind ride .....few sec later MARAUDER :)

Nice....had a young kid compliment me walking into a restuarant. Said" I like your Mercury. Are those IROC rims?" I said no, factory and his jaw dropped 6 inches...IROC rims??? HUH???

Get used to it is right on!
No matter where I drive my DTR here in the Texas hill country...someone always has a comment about it...and NEVER had a negative one of any kind.
It is a great feeling.

Good feeling:
I pull into Stanford valet parking. Behind me is a beautiful 944.
Valets start commenting on my car and the rarity of it. The supervisor walks over to the 944 and proceeds to get in to valet it. Stops, looks at the rear of mine, and says "I'll drive the Marauder". He then proceeds to valet mine in lieu of the 944.

Got windshield replaced, guy said you like Marauders? I said NO I only have three. If I liked them I would have four. I was shocked he knew what they were. Asked if I had one for sale. Sent him to MM.net.
