From "It's Ordered" thread, to here's the new ride and a little camper we came across.

Now I'll have to get a CDL to drive this rig, as it's over 26,000 lbs. on the road. Luckily the other half still has her CDL from her Werner days.

Jake, that would be a YEP! Anything where the combined GROSS weight (tow vehicle and trailer) is over 26,000 lbs. When the King Ranch and the Redwood are connected, we're talking 30,600lbs. Maryland does have a "Non-commercial" CDL class A, for RV'rs that I'm looking into.

That is one beautiful Kings Ranch. I had a F-350 Lariet and got rid of it for a F-150 Kings Ranch. Love the leather. Congrats

Not an issue with USAA, they added the F350 with no questions.

F350 is ok. Problem arises when you move up to F450 & higher.

Over 1-ton exceeds the definition of passenger vehicle and becomes a commercial vehicle by policy definition.

Just need a CDL when it's hooked-up to the RV. Any combined vehicle weight of more than 26,000lbs is the milestone requirement.

And it's a REDWOOD 38GK which is 42'

Nope, this time next year we should be residents of Florida.

And this beast doesn't have bunk beds. Redwoods were designed by interviewing Baby Boomers for what they wanted in an RV. So they're basically designed to party with 6-10, room at the table for 4, and when the nights over....GET OUT only a bed for 2. Now I will admit there is 1 foldout sofa.

And I also agree with the Awesome truck.

I see you bought the stripped down version of an F-350. :D

I don't think you missed and check boxes on that order.

Gorgeous truck and a terrific ride on the highway.

Though I always giggle inside when I see the words "super duty"...

Love the 6.7, no problems with it...just turned 4500 with it. It pulls the 5th wheel like it's not back there. Stopping though, you know it's back there...
