The opening scene of this weeks episode of the Sopranos, there are two FBI undercover agents watching a meeting between Tony Soprano and a contractor at a diner. The scene is at night and in the rain. Anyway, the car the FBI agents are in is definitely a Mercury (the waterfall emblem on the grille is the give away), and the car is black. I think it's a Marauder, because to my eyes the grille looked blacked out, not chrome like on the GM. There is a another shot of the car when a local cop stops by to check out the car, but it's too close to see if it's a GM.
Anybody else see this?

Donny,
I also noticed it...I really think it was a MM. All we need now is for Tony to get rid of the Escalade, and to start driving a MM.

This is definitely cool - just wondering how many Soprano wannabes we're going to get as a result.
I'll have to wait a year until the DVDs come out because I ain't paying HBO fees.
That theme is the first CD I ever played in the car on my way out of the dealership. It was 65 degrees out so I had the windows down and was getting several looks from passersby. :)

THE SOPRANOS 54: RAT PACK
Tony sizes up a contractor's gift, then reunites with his paroled cousin, Tony Blundetto (Steve Buscemi). Meanwhile, Paulie and Christopher relive some not-so-special memories; Carmela launches a film club; Adriana grapples with her guilt; and a familiar figure "crosses over."
This episode will be on HBO ON Demand (VOD) today. I'll check it out. Nice thing about VOD are the freezeframe and rewind features.

No, it was not a Marauder. It was a black Grand Marquis, had the chrome waterfall grille and standard 16" wheels. There were some shots that showed the whole car.

Well, it wasn't a Marauder, but I did see my niece on The Sopranos last night.
She was one of the extras in the festival crowd. She's a young teenage blonde, dark jacket, walking towards the camera, in the scene immediately following the one where Paulie calls his doctor from a pay phone (about 45 minutes into the show. I think she's carrying a stuffed animal.)
She's been on a bunch of shows (L&O, Love Monkey, other Sopranos shows), but this is the first time we really got to see her.
