I "rented" my buddy's 91 escort like 5 years ago when I was going thru my divorce and getting full custody of my kids for about 6 months. Payment was putting a windshield and bumper on it and many beers:)

I rented a subaru when one of my old f250's was in the body shop. that was in 1995...what a pos that was, it had an air cooled 4cyl and about the same power as a vw bug!!
