Well my fan took a dump. Anybody know of a better replacement? Stock? Aftermarket dual? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

www.tascaparts.com has the cowling/fan/motor assembly listed for $349.76, the normal Ford price is listed as $578.11. UPS ground shipping is listed at just under $40.
Had my fan "frag" on me last year. If your cooling system overheated because of the loss of you fan, remember to "burp" you system to get all the air out of it. You do that by cracking the plug with the "socket" hole on top of the plumbing.

Fan spins freely and is intact, it just knocks everytime it kicks on. No obstructions hitting the fan

It may look intact but still may be broken. Take it out and look at it to be sure. I bet it is broken. The centrifugal force causes it to knock.
