Agreed. I think the writer had a definite Texas bias.

I'm far from the definitive expert, but most of the Carolina BBQ I've had is pulled pork vs ribs, which is the usual fare in the Carolinas; so that may have been one of the issues.

FWIW, I'm a BIG fan of Lexington style, although I enjoy mustard based, too. :food:

Ah, St.louis has two on the list. Ropers, 1/4 mile down the street from the crib, is pretty good, tho not really a fan of sauce on the meat. .

Bogart's haven't tried..... yet, but will have after tomorrow. :food: :drool:
