With the number of Mercury/Lincoln dealers that have either closed up, or have been merged with the nearest Ford dealer, the Mercury/Lincoln dealership landscape has changed greatly since 2003-04.
Is the one that first sold your Marauder still open?
Mine was delivered to Burnsville Lincoln/Mercury, which is now closed and sold to someone that made it a Honda dealer. I believe the Mercury/Lincoln franchise went to the nearest Ford store, Apple Valley Ford, which is now the state's biggest volume Ford dealership.

Mine was Safford L/M in Silver Spring, MD. They sold the car new there, was traded back in and sold to me. They hosted an annual Flag Day car show that most of CAM attended.
I think they are not open anymore as a Ford dealer was across the street from them.

Purchased my first Marauder at Cherner L/M in Tysons Corner, VA. I know the Cherner showroom is no more. It's an Aston Martin dealership know. Jose (F8tlbiteVA) will know more, he works there.. i think
I believe Cherner just merged with Ted Britt Ford and they have dealerships and repair facilities in Chantilly, VA and Fairfax, VA

Cape Cod Lincoln Mercury Mazda closed up shop in the middle of the night, after repeatedly assuring the town of Yarmouth that they were going to remain. They moved 100 miles to the west, then sent letters to all their Cape customers inviting them to continue getting their cars serviced at the new location.

Purchased mine from Starr L/M in Glendale, CA. They merged with their Ford dealership. My other dealer, Vista L/M in Woodland Hills, CA merged next door with their Ford Dealership also. Galpin where I purchased my MKS is still seperate. They are the largest Ford dealer in the world. They are also the largest Lincoln dealership in the Western USA.

Bought my 2004 Lincoln LS from Ken Smith/Ridgewood, NJ. Closed.
Bought my 2003 TBird from Elmwood Ford, Elmwood Park, NJ. Closed.
L&M dealer in Westwood, NJ, is now a foreign car dealership.
Liberty L&M in Clifton NJ, RIP. (They also had a floor dedicated to classic cars.)
Sad to see all the old Pontiac and Oldsmobile dealers gone and replaced by foreign bands.
(When the local Pontiac dealer closed, a multi story Mercedes Benz dealership rose in it's place.)
Sad.
Nope, not sure if they were going under the Bellevue L-M or Barrier L-M name when it was sold new. It was back to Bellevue L-M when it was traded in and the service writer snagged it, kept it a year of so and sold it to me. The were struggling before the Mercury brand was axed and with the prospect of half their sales gone they folded and the Ford franchise across the street picked up Lincoln.

Country Lincoln - Mercury Long gone.
bought my 04 Marauder new from Highland Park L/M now in business as Highland Park Ford Lincoln located in Highland Park, Illinois...been trying to convince them to have a Marauder reunion for the ones that they sold....also, Terry's L/M in Orland Park, Illinois folded shortly after the demise of Mercury with Lincoln going to Rizza Ford-Kia-Porsche...the Lincoln signage at the dealership is so small you can hardly see it...

Same here....I bought my Marauder from Safford LM wayyy back in Dec '02.
They had 7 or 8 Black Marauders lined up on the lot and I chose what looked like the 'pick of litter'.
I drove by there recently and they are now a Mitsubishi dealer....

Don't know where the Marauder was originally sold but my LSC was sold new at Bluegrass L/M, traded back and sold to me, is closed. The Mark V was sold at Thorobred L/M which changed to Metroplitan at about the same time is also closed. I do have a pic of her parked in the front row with brand new 97 TownCars though...:D..If your talking about being open as L/M dealers, I haven't seen those dealerships in many a moon...

Dang, Jerry! If I was a car dealer,I think I'd turn your business away; selling you a car is terminal! ;) ---------> :D
+1 on the Pontiac and Olds dealerships. My Dad was an Olds guy, I grew up with 'em and had a couple myself back in the day.

Bought from Frank Jackson Lincoln/Mercury in Sandy Springs, GA. They were closing the Dealership and some conversation with Corporate Headquarters was required to get the car shipped since they were closing. Todd Fisher and I got the first and last two Marauders delivered to this dealership. They were moving cars and taking down signs when we picked up our cars.

The Ford dealer where I bought my 2010 used Explorer last year is still in business.
(I think.)
I had two Oldsmobiles back in the day.
A two tone 1954 Olds 88, 2 dr post, three speed on the column, and a 1957 white Olds 98 convertible that I had repainted 1962 Chevy Honduras Maroon..
My dad had a red/white 55 Olds 88 2 dr hardtop.
Great cars.

The '57 Olds is one of the most beautiful cars to come out of Detroit, IMO. Betcha that Maroon looked slick.

My 04 was originally sold from Temple Lincoln Mercury Chrysler Jeep, in Temple TX. They closed up shop and tore down the building, we acquired the Lincoln and Mercury names from them, as we were the Ford across the highway at the time. The Chrysler and Jeep names went down to the Dodge dealer. The original owner traded her in at our dealership and I bought it before they even left the lot in their new car.

Yes, Honduras Maroon, IMHO, is one of the premiere colors of the 60's along with Nassau Blue.
Now, since I was working in a body shop at the time, one of the body guys painted the car for me. Terrible job!!!
No sheen, looked dull. Orangepeal.
So, they recommended that I wet sand and compound the car using 400 and GASOLINE!
I did, and the paint looked like glass.

Purchased my brand new 2004 DTR from Terry Holmes Ford, Lincoln, Mercury. The dealership never closed but it has changed hands a couple of times and now it is a Five Star dealership. That is where Joann got her new used 2012 Shelby GT500 Cobra with 620 miles.:banana2:

Bought mine from D'amico in East Brunswick NJ, they are now a Mazda dealer.
I was there several months before my car came in and was invited to attend a salesperson familiarization meeting with a Mercury rep and he brought in a Marauder to explain the features of the car to the sales staff. It was a good idea but the sales people were morons.

I got my '04 DTR from Wichita Falls (Texas) Nissan when the original senior owner traded it in (22,000 miles) for a small Nissan to give to his grandkid so she could drive it to college.
I know that person bought it new in Wichita, Kansas before he moved to Texas...when I bought the car, I called the Lincoln/Merc dealer in Kansas to find out about the car...they were still in business 2 1/2 years ago...but they were not very cooperative about providing me with any info...so I got it from Ford Customer Service.

I acquired mine Sept 2002 at 1111 West Diversey in Chicago, IL. The dealer is still there, but it's under different ownership and they now sell Minis. The people that ran the dealership still own the land and sold Lincoln/Mercury at a whole new location. They still service the cars, but lost the Ford license. Up until recently they were a "Lincoln" dealership that sold other brands too. Now they are not affiliated with Ford at all.

Yes. I went back in 2012 and took a picture of the car in front of their building. While I was doing that the salespeople came out and told me how nice my Grand Marquis was and they really liked my aftermarket wheels. I did not stay long after that.
