Nice find !!! Go ahead and do it .... you only live once. ;)

There was one exactly like it in our neighborhood when I was growing up. Mostly Fords and Chevys on the block. Mercurys were rare items. The late 50's produced some beautiful cars.

Why was it parked next to the dumpster, it's not a DTR?

Buy it Paul and use it as a DD unless you were going to use it as a show car.. Why not you only live once.

I've been thinking about my next DD and am seriously considering a glass bodied street rod.

That actually makes more sense Eric.
I don't have the money for a $50k car period - but I can still dream.
That and buy a lottery ticket once in a while!

There is a red light.

It's nice to see that some of them are getting preserved - one day maybe I can own one!

Never seen the red light before. And look at that pink 57 Lincoln Premiere lurking off to the right. I couldn't build a big enuff garage to hold all these beauties I would want!!!!

That dealer always manages to find some of the nicest examples of some of the rare cars. His prices are high but where else can you find examples like those he finds.

I love to look as I have more than I can manage now.
