Has anyone seen this show?

I came across it tonight and thought I would give it a try. Seems like only the pickups are actual street cars and the rest are race cars with license plates, but it's still an interesting watch... especially Farm Truck. Reminds me of driving the Marauder when it's working... messing with anything in site. ;)

Way too much drama, setting up street races, renting old airfields to race on, blah blah blah. For the effort they are putting into it, why not just go to a track and do your grudge matches and race for money etc.?

haha, don't tell that to those guys. we had a 200 post dispute on what a street car vs race car is on the local mustang forum and a couple of the guys on the show are on the board.
the show is pretty stupid, imo. too much fake drama and not enough racing

It's a street car because it was on the street for the race, the trailer for the arrival doesn't mean diddley. :flamer:

Almost the exact same thing went down on LS1tech, although I don't think it lasted that long.

I was turned off of the show by the preview trailer alone.

It's better then most reality shows out there IMO because its based on cars. Way better then that Jersey Shore and Teen Mom crap they put on the TV even with them adding drama to make people watch it. But still prefer Pass Time

Watched 1 show thinking it was car stuff. Ended up being less car & more Jerry Springer. Disgusting they portray people faking abhorent behavior but people watch & start emulating it as normal. Too bad. More s$!t from the media.

Shows portraying disgusting behavior for shock value in a desperate attempt to attract a viewer don't show anything REAL at all.

I bet it doesn't even make 1 season.

Some one will die "copy-catting" the show and it will be yanked.

Have you guys ever grudge raced? I dont know if is staged or not but around here we street race every sat night and we do the same. Talk ****, discuss the rules and race. Those guys have been doing this for years and discovery channel went to them to make a show. Any person that into grudge racing knows about those guys.

I've seen the farm truck guys here in DFW at a local track. He's running a lot of nitrous and is pretty quick. When he launches, his lift gate on the topper flies up and he's usually got a banner tacked up on it so its a big billboard when he goes down the track. Had a speed shop banner on the lift gate last time I saw him.

I watched this show, actually the finale was last Monday 7/29 at 10est, not sure if anyone knows that one of the racers Tyler 'Flip' Priddy tragically passed away at his home after filming was completed, some say that it was racing, some say suicide, I know chief, Justin Shearer, the actual races where not stagged, if anyone wants to leave Flips family their condolences I'll post the link to the online obituary, these guys are good peeps, RIP Flip! :beer:

From my research it was suicide. If it was cancer or something "natural" it would have been mentioned.

Yes it would of, twice in the one season they where on they dedicated the season to Flip, at the end of the season finale they dedicated a few minutes to him and also said he tragically passed away at home. Obviously it wasn't cancer or racing

I really enjoyed the show! It made me realize that my car is VERY slow... :alone: Anyways I really liked the show though and i'd say Flips car was probably my favorite on the show. I would have liked to see him and Daddy Dave race after I saw him beat boosted gt. RIP Flip

Definitely a sleeper, fast ass truck, Azn is a pain in the ass but a good dude, keeps everyone mad and happy at the same time, Flip passed tragically and will be missed! RIP Flip :beer:
