I saw one of these today... and I want one. Badly:coolman:
Here is the website that describes it
http://www.avic-n1.com/
This looks a lot like the unit Mac and Logan have, but it comes standard with navigation (which it retains in memory after you read the DVD). It, of course, plays DVD's, MP3's (it recognises PC file structure and folders), and has the abillity to monitor and display 7 different vehicle performance areas (g forces, voltage, speed, etc) that are user definable. You can hook up a rear looking camera. It will operate a Pioneer CD changer, or an MP3 keg. You can, of course, use the controls on the steering wheel with an adapter. And it is satellite radio ready.
Tweeter has it in their most recent flyer, and their price is $1999 (msrp is $2000, so the discount is overwhelming:censor: )
I like the voice recognition unit, which besides the navigation unit, also operates the audio and video controls.
This unit supports the Pioneer 50 CD changer, and has an auxiliary input for a DVD changer, or other device. You could have both a CD changer and a MP3 keg, or whatever. Boggles the mind, actually.
BTW, Tweeter is offering a free Sirius satellite radio tuner. If you want them to put it in, there's a charge for installation and you have to pay for an antenna, whether they put it in or not. You pay for a year's Sirius subscription, then get 3 months free after the year. www.tweeter.com (http://www.tweeter.com/)
