So my brother got his tune from martyo in the mail today for his 94 mustang gt with bolt ons. And I get a text calling the mm out. ( after I got my tune it was a very close race with the mm winning by just a little). So now I'm looking for more power lol. I'm considering throwing my nitrous in but I'm hesitant to for some reason. (Don't wanna loose a motor) I have a stall converter that will be sent out next week to be re done. I'm starting to realize forced induction is all I have left to do to the car. As of now my car has the following:

97 cobra intake cams advanced 8 degrees
Jlt cold air
Kooks long tubes and x pipe
Mo's tune
J mod
Under drives
4:10's
Eaton limited slip dif
180° thermostat
Removed the spare ( to save on weight at the track )
And soon to have a 2800-300 stall convertor

Are there any more things I can do to help get me deep into the 13's? Last year I ran a 1:90 60ft on street tires and have 295 kdw g forces on it now so traction isn't really an issue thanks for the help guys!

Get a S/C, you don't want a 3,500 stall on a daily driver, and 4:10s are sufficient.

I have had a 3,500 Stall for 130K miles. Best advice Zack ever gave me. It's all in the Tune!

Nitrous 100shot with a GREAT tune since you already have the kit and bye bye mustang

Since I'm sending the converter in they can set the stall anywhere I want. I guess I will either have to load the car up and head to Georgia or see if I can find a trustworthy tuner around me so I can do the stall and spray

Nitrous on a stock motor = borrowed time! ever disassembled a cast motor on spray:confused:

Well that's why I haven't run it yet. I've always been Leary about it end especially since these motors are so expensive to work on. I kinda wanted to see just how fast I could go n/a with stock internalls and a stock head just because that's what I have

Same as a blower but there are many with them.

Nitrous with a GREAT tune has proven to be safe if not used every second of the day.

If motor is still stock lower you are committing suicide if you spray it. You'll need curtains for the block!!! :shake:

Forced induction at a safe boost pressure is all you can do unless you redo the rotating assmbley & oil pump to eliminate the 2 weak points of the stock motor - then you can spray away! :burnout:

N/A with full bolt ons you'll be lucky to break 300rwhp. Few here have but why spend allllllllllll that money to see 300?

Boost it or spray it and call it a day.
Or
Do neither and build your motor THEN throw power at it.

A S/C with a bad tune and or heavy foot can poof your motor same way nitrous can

Since when did spray become so deadly for a stock motor? I'm seriously confused. There are members here who spray and they still have their motors in tact

Contact Lowbuckmm. He had a dyno tune done just for NOS, a 100 shot. His car made 370+ rwhp and 480+ rwtq all on his stock motor. Dyno tuned by Bob Kurgan at the time.

Sent from The White House on taxpayers dimes.

DTR + 4.10's + Eaton swap = Wreeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom

Yes, it's still in tack. But he is now adding boost and has since gotten rid of the NOS. I think he ran some low low 12's in the 1/4 mile.

I'm was kinda thinking about finding a 5.4 short block and building it and putting my top end on it this winter. Maybe I'll go that route. I mainly just wondered if there are any more n/a mods to do since the p.o. spent all the money on the stuff I already have. Lol.

If all you want is some fun every now and then spray it. I have had the spray on my car for years. For the first couple years I was at the track every 3-4 weeks spraying it until I ran both bottles dry. That's 4-5 good runs each bottle. As Zach always says its all in the tune. Every one that pm's asking what to do with the spray I always say use a wet kit and get a custom tune. My motor is still a power house without the spray and I can run mid to low 12's with it. For thousands less then people with boost.

But now I'm going a different route with my car and ill keep the spray only because its easy power.

Martyo is great, but Lidio is closer...
