FIRST: post up your pics of where you have yours mounted. I have two ideas of where I'd want mine mounted.
1) in place of the compass
2) centered in the dash trim where the clock should/would be

Secondly if there are any cons whatsoever feel free to list it.

Im thinking about pulling the trigger on this. Seems very useful to know what's going on with the car at all times.

Post up. Thanks

YES that's very clean and where I'm really considering putting mine. How much work did it take to do that

Mine is mounted behind the flasher switch against the dash. Used to have another mounted where Marauder jack has his, but that one started flaking so the Dashdaq took it's place.

Measure very carefully several times, outline with masking tape and cut slightly undersize with a Dremel cutoff wheel!! Do final sizing with a file for a snug "press fit".......run wire through the dash to the OBD II port and you're done!!

Ive got mine sitting on top the dash, im lazy with it....but i did tuck the wires away. I considered the other spots that people have them mounted but i like that i dont really have to look far from my windshield to read it.

I sourced an overhead console from a Lincoln - same color - as I didn't want to hack up my original console.

I like this I have the same console minus the "R". It just looks a bit too big for the console. Very clean though

I was gonna mount mine where the compass is but I was afraid I might get lost without the compass!!

Actually it is hard to see up there since the angle is bad and it is too close for my old eyes!!

I had it mounted on the steering column with vel-cro.......worked fine but got too hot in the Sun!!

I thought about mounting mine to replace the compass or center dot matrix trim piece but I don't like having to take my eyes away from looking directly forward. I have mine behind the flasher switch against the gauge cluster and cable routed down.

I also like to use this on another vehicles which is another reason why I didn't mount it.

I have mine mounted to the rearview mirror. I love it because it is out of the way, didnt have to cut anything and it is turned toward the driver seat for easy viewing.

But Florida heat would cook it on the steering column for me too

It'll be solely for the marauder for me

I use a sun screen shield in the front windshield, helps keep the dash and steering wheel cool.

I don't have a pic of mine but I have a video.

How did you route the wire to the OBDII connector? I wish I had the nerve and skill required to place it below the radio in the "C/F" trim piece! :o

Thanks in advance 2,4shofast!

I've pulled off the CF piece under the radio. Doesn't look like its a tough job at all. Just measure. Remeasure. Cut then fit. I'll be doing it pretty soon myself. Then going to have it wrapped. If it seems too much for you then go to a shop. Shouldn't cost much at all to cut out such a small rectangle

The wire actually fits right up the pillar next to the glass and I followed the next the the headliner. I figure it is the perfect place because how often I look in the rearview mirror, more often than my guages. The wire hasnt moved a single time and is just held in by the pillar itself and between the headliner and glass has a spot it fits perfectly in.
