And the hits just keep on coming. Kasey Kahne continued his march through the Nextel Cup tour, running a lap of 171.716 mph to easily capture his second Bud Pole Award of the season. Dale Earnhardt Jr. was second.

I'll admit, this kid is really good for being a rookie in Nextel! Bill was, and will always be my favorite, but he semi retired. Gotta latch onto another "active" favorite now, look like it'll still be the #9 car!:banana2:

I am a #88 man myself trying to stay in the F/L/M carline; but Kasey Kahne is definitely the rookie to watch this year. Did you see the look on Little E's face when the #9's laptime was posted? He rolled his eyes and knew that he was gonna have to press the wall at Darlington to even get close. He did but came up on the inside row for Sunday. I continue to be impressed with quality and character of the NASCAR talent.:rock:
