Not much snow on Texas Lil this year.... I think it's a shame they paved it all the way to the top, I miss the rally style drifting I used to see as a young man going to that race.

Very cool. My youngest daughter and I were there Tuesday of race week. I was worried that we were not going to be able to go up the mountain because of race week, but we did. The road was closed until 830 in the morning for practice. We got up there early to the start line and just hung out and looked at the cars, race teams and trucks. For practice all the cars and bikes go up and stay there till practice is over. When the road opened, we were one of the first cars going up, and we got to see a steady stream of the race vehicles coming down. Although I've been there in the Marauder, this time we were in our 07 GT convertible. It's neat going up the mountain with the top down.
