Well, I have owned my Marauder now for 3 months (exactly) and ~3,000 miles. I will say that I couldn't be happier with owning this car! It rides great, drives great, looks even better (despite my bumper & paint issues)! I wanted to make sure that I thanked everyone on this site for all the helpful information you all have shared with me to make this experience as awesome as it has been so far!!!!!
Now, time for an oil change!! :burnout:

That oil change interval is at least 25 years obsolete. Modern oils and engines are so far superior to those from before the '90s that changing the oil at that interval is a huge waste. 5,000 is the new 3,000 for conventional oil, even longer for synthetic.

An oil change/viscosity thread will be a refreshing change.:beer:

I know! ;) I figured I would get a poke about that, lol! I figured, not knowing how long the car has been sitting before I got it, I might do one oil change early. Plus, I got some key & fob issues I will most likely have the dealer do for me. Also, I was considering a trans flush and fuel filter change while its there. The car is pushing 75k miles now.:)

Ah...yes...if you don't know the maintenance history, then an oil change now is a good idea. Same for the ATF and the fuel filter.
