04 marauder , new rebuild, heads and all! Engine starts , and runs, but bank 1 is doing all the work! Heads were done and reassembled , but I neglected to check the cam setup!

Did you do a compression test? That would let you know if the cam timing was off.

cam position is very important

I bet the main chain driving bank two is off a tooth or two. It's easy to do. I mark my opposing chain links with nail polish to know exactly where they are.

I neglected to check the cam setup!

Why would you go through all that work and not check the cam setup?

Sounds like a tear down is in your future bud!

You show right, that what happens, when you depend on somebody else

hey guys, I am having the same issue. I just did a teardown and rebuild of my heads only. I have great compression 205-215 on all cylinders. but when I start the car and allow it to idle, only the driver's side cylinders are getting fuel, the passenger side is not being allowed to receive fuel. I have not been able to find the reason why only one side of the engine is recieveing fuel, its so weird! I could really use a hand because I am at a loss.

That's not the same issue. You have good, equal compression on all cylinders. If you have one bank of injectors not firing, that's electrical. Have you pulled off the injector connectors as it's running to see if it's all injectors, a couple or just one?

Injectors firing on both sides

Ok, pulled covers timing is dead on! So I'm leading to believe a fuel delivery problem

^This isn't caused by a fueling issue.^

Not the fuel itself , but something electrical controlling the fuel, bad, maybe overheated injectors

Ok, check the wiring harness. For injectors, and the coils! Really melted together ! , but came apart!

I still haven't found crap with mine. still only have the DS firing.

Ok, new update, after testing compression I found 125 on bank 2 and 200 on bank 1! Could be bent valves, bad rings, fresh rebuild, or what! I'm thinking bent valves

The answer is yes, the cams can be interchanged, but it's fixed
