I don't like the way the coil cover on the passenger side doesn't say anything about what the engine is but the driver's side does. I got to thinking of putting some sort of decal on the passenger coil cover similar to the older Marauders that had these on their valve covers:

What do you guys think?

I'm going to try out high temp vinyl or just go with aluminum for the decal material

Well, I finally got the decals in. I worked with a local guy that makes signs and stickers for a lot of people that put them under the hood. From what I've read people don't have an issue with the heat. I gave him the file and the dimensions I wanted and he came through. They fit between the cover bolts really well and they are really sticky. I wish that line with the green cap wasn't there, but what can you do?

We'll see how they actually hold up to the heat but I don't think there will be an issue.

It looks like something that belongs on an air filter cover if it was curved.

damn man stole my idea, about the Super Marauder. I got this saved on my e-bay for over 6 weeks and was planning to put Super Marauder on if/when I got supercharged. U must be a genius..:)

well, the decal has been on for over 6 weeks and with driving the car daily the decal is neither peeling nor fading.
im thinking of coming up with a different style with the old school Mercury logo in cursive

It would be great if it was made to fit into the recessed area on the driver's side coil cover;)
