I need to change the bulbs in the rear window mounted stop light. How do you remove the cover without breaking anything ? Also, I need to remove the liner in the center console to repair the locking mechanism--how do I get it out ?Thanks in advance, Maury

Phillips screws, 1 on each side.

Remove both & housing lifts right off.

Easy access.

Remove the phillips head screw from both sides of the CHMSL and you can remove it.

Open the center console and the liner lifts out.

I was going to post that but I thought that was too easy of an answer

Maury are you taking about taking the light itself apart?

correct. I know there are two screws on either side of the housing. You pull it up and disconnect it. But actually replacing the bulb itself, not sure

Once you get the CHMSL loose you squeeze the white tabs and the bulb housing comes out. The bulbs are type 912, the larger version of the 168 bulb.

Had no problem with the tailight. Can't seem to get console liner out. Is loose on passenger side but really tightly secured on driver's side. Tried sliding blade down side. Seem to hit some sort of clip but can't get any release. ?????? I don't want to pull too hard because the plastic is so brittle. Help. Maury

Well, it took some time, but , all is well in my Marauder family. Got the high tail light fixed with no problems. Finally got the console box six pieces back into a working piece. Ain't Super Glue wonderful !! I still can't find half my Marauder stuff since the move over a year ago, I'm frustrated at times---guess that comes with age;) Stay safe all, Maury
