Spotted 2 silver '04s, one with moonroof, at Bluegrass Lincoln Mercury in Louisville last week. Let the trouble begin!

I've looked at TR, not to down tire rack, but as soon as we started using them as a link from here, they upped their price like 20% to over $100 and they used to be $80. I found 4 on ebay today for $80 each.

My buddy used to work at Tire Rack in Indiana, he said that the tires that sell automatically go up in price, makes sense with supply and demand, but not to my budget that's already out the window now.

For now I'm gonna drive till I make my own slicks, lol.

PS -ADELG670 let me know when you want to go to the dealer, talked to the service manager today. They're picking up the respray of my hood and he said they do 2/3 4.10 changes a week with the trooper cars.

Well, not to disparage you sir, but that is not the case. Our tire price went up nationwide, and it has nothing to do with the tire rack, nor our having them as an advertiser.

Not a nice comment toward the Tire Rack.

BTW: ebay is not a retailer, they are a bonified flea market, you will always find items cheaper on ebay.

CRUZTAKER, All I did was to pass info as it came to me from the TR people in South Bend that I've delt with before. That's what they said when I talked to them. They said the same thing happened on the Corral for stang tires. If it's wrong then they are giving out wrong information and it's them we can all be mad at. If you work for them then you know best and before I post anything again about them I'll come to you first.

Yeah, sure you did.

I'm not gonna argue with you newbie, Marauderman posted a positive dealing with D.R. and you chime in disparaging a contributing vendor, pick your flames carefully, because you didn't just offend me, I can assure you that.

Geee CRUZTAKER, nice way to make someone feel welcome. I would think we all need to take what is written at face value, since we can't communicate face to face here. I also don't get the reference to "newbie". Looks like PhkinQk only joined MM.net a few months after you.

Let's keep this all positive. Much more enjoyable that way.......

I also don't get the reference to "newbie". Looks like PhkinQk only joined MM.net a few months after you. With only 12 posts in 2003 and the balance in the last two months, I'd consider him a newbie too. I'm sure there's not a high demand for the size tires we need, since so few cars need the same size.

Let's keep this all positive. Much more enjoyable that way.......I agree.

Hold on a sec. The number of posts are what counts for determining experience -- not longevity on the site?

Back to Dennis, I purchased the tuner and gears and plan on more in the future, and let me just say he's a great guy. Thanks again DR! Time to go driving!

You can get all 4 tires for the Marauder for roughly $400...delivered!!:rock:Holy moly I paid $440 for my Yokohama's!

Now I suppose that's where I can get much better tires for a cheaper price?

Since the stock ones run around $100 a tire, I can't pay more than that per tire.

Yeah, I'll be going there later, and I'll buy them via the site link of course!

Thanks Kathy:D

I have had 2 very positive experiences with Dennis. On both occasions he made a large math error in my favor, in one case it was over $1,500.

In both cases I pointed it out to him and he corrected it, point being he does make mistakes like everyonelse, but he has always been honest with me.

On 2 occasions he talked me out of buying something from him because he thought it was not a good value.

If you do not have a personal experience to relate you should keep your "opinons" to yourself.

I've done business with DR to my complete satisfaction, and for that he's earned my respect. Many other members here would say the same.

1st Verse:

Oh, give me home, where the marauders can roam,
Where the newbies and post whores can play,
Where seldom is heard a disparaging word,
and the replies are not nasty all day.

Chorus:

Home, home on that site,
Where the newbies and post whores don't fight,
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
and the replies are not nasty all day.

That's my dream website. Anyone know where I can find it?
