Ocktoberfest! 10-12-13

Attention CAM... save the date! I want to inundate this show with Marauders, Mustangs, Crown Vics, and whatever else you happen to own and want to show! Last year was a blast and this year promises to be even better. I just got word today that the MWR (morale welfare and recreation) committee for Aberdeen Proving Grounds is holding their Ocktoberfest on 12 October 2013...and there will be a car show in conjunction with it. The show will run from 10AM till 3PM. As I get more information I will pass it along.

That would be awesome! I'll suggest a "farthest traveled" award to the show coordinator, and see how far folks will travel!

Here's the official flyer! I'd like to meet before the show and cruise in together. There is a wal mart near the entrance to post...and it proved to be adequate for a nice launching area. PM me for my phone number, and we can coordinate mo better:)

Good morning! I'm trying to find out the status of this show. I am hoping that it'll not be affected as the newest change from the DOD is that funding that affects the readiness and welfare of our troops shall be available. As soon as I find something out, i'll post up.

Your first post says that this is an MWR sponsored/hosted show. MWR are "non-appropriated" funds and have nothing to do with the Government budget, the shutdown, or the Congressional silliness. That's why the PX's and BX's are open (self-supporting MWR funds); but the Commissaries are closed (appropriated funds). This show should not be affected. Now that the DoD piece is back in operation next week ..... all should be just fine.
