5 Days To Go!! New Hampshire here we come!

Over the weekend Eric and I are going to start packing for the trip to New Hampshire. (We're leaving Tuesday). Here's our list of "don't forgets."

1. Walkie-talkies tuned to Channel 5. Great for convoys.

2. Flashlight

2. Extra batteries for above.

3. Folding camp chairs

4. Cooler

5. Canopy/tent

6. Sunscreen

7. Handiwipes/hand sanitizer

8. Car care/cleaning products

9. Marauder hats, Tee shirts, lanyards

10. Your appetite :D

Chris, some people have them from a prior MM.net event. We didn't do any this year, but I'll put it on the list for 2014.

However, our custom NH Meet Dash Plaques were delivered to our hotel today. Eric and I will pick them up tomorrow. Can't wait to see them. Thanks to Ladyhawke for coordinating this with Mary & Dan to get it all done in time and I think that Dean came up with the idea for the pic. Thank you all!


Oh, and I just finished the cookie baking and am starting on the Salty Peanut Chews recipe from Mrs. Tweety aka Denise (Mrs. Jabird) They are by special request from Mainiac who along with me (and anyone else who enjoyed them at Carlisle) think they are really yummy. We'll share with the rest of you!

Last time I had one I scared myself to death at DisneyLand. Mickey would not stop stalking me. Everywhere I turned....Mickey Mouse. So creepy.

There was a modded pickup in the group before us that did what everyone was told not to do. Light em up on the track. He overdid it too. So when it was our turn, the chase cars bunched us and effectively neutered our fun.

We drove up today. The weather is beautiful! Had dinner with the in laws and plan to run the route for Fridays outing, tomorrow. Now kicking back at the hotel. It's great to be back in the Granite State. Just waiting for the rest of you.:cool:

I know it would have been awesome, but with work scheduling me from 5pm Saturday to 130 am Sunday, I get to go home, try and sleep, wake up and do it again at 945 am.

I seriously need to get out of retail and find a job that will put me on a regular schedule

Glad you finally made it, Bill. ;) It's nice and sunny right now. Some of us are heading up to the track and some of us are heading to Mt. Washington. See the rest of you tonight or Friday.

We have reserved parking at the hotel. Just ask the front desk. So far we have 2 SB, 1 blk and Lucy.

For dinner tonight we will prolly leave the hotel by 7ish and head over to a BBQ joint called Beefside on Manchester St just past the Red Blazer. It's really casual, but the BBQ is good! Call us if you need directions.
