What is the condition of your paint job?

I noticed what looks like silver blotches in the paint on the upper surfaces. So far the hood and trunk is affected. I have not checked the roof yet.

Anyone have similar?

Any suggestions on what can be done.

I just Zaino'ed mine yesterday, no paint issues here. I would recommend cleaning the paint real well and bringing it to your dealer so they can see it.
How large are the bloches? Is the paint raised in those areas? Can you take pics for us?

I just gave mine a spring cleaning as well. Only problems I have are those brought about by daily driving and outdoor storage.

No issues to date after 5 months & 4000 miles as daily driver.
Dealer applied a paint treatment that is like glass, beading water off in huge droplets. No paint/prep irregularities detected with 3X magnification.

All the DTRs that I've seen have had MUCH better paint than the early Blacks. Do as carfixer said, clean her and take her to the dealer to discuss.


I STILL say, however...the robots at S.T.A.P. put out some of the WORST paintjobs on the planet.:flamer: :mad2: :nono: :down:
