View Full Version : alternator cooler ??

As many of you know I have been putting together parts for a trilogy build , have seen a few trilogy cars in person with a black outer alternator cooler . Was this sold with the trilogy kits ? Or sold after market ? If I am wrong with the part please let me know .

I've never seen one of these and it didn't come with the Trilogy. Do you have pics of it? On a side note, I haven't had any problems with my alternator since going S/C'd. I'm still on the original one, running an aftermarket audio system as well.

Alternator cooler? Not on my Trilogy and I've never even heard of one.

Marauderjim with a blue marauder had a black looking thing over his . If you look at the motor pic racerx took at the nh show look very close at the blue marauder .

I guess I'm going to have to take the cover off and pop the hood on mine...

Here's a shot of my engine when I was replacing the cracked intercooler. You can see the stock alternator in the pic.

That's just the backside of the OEM alternator. It gets mounted backwards with the Trilogy install.
