Drag racing again?!?! Thats right girlies, lets get some racing going on again! This time its at capital raceway on friday August 23rd. Racing starts at 4:30 and goes on till 11. $20 to race and $10 to watch, children under 12 are free. Fastest car run gets the grand prize of letting me drive their vehicle home for the weekend! Dont miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity! Whos going to be there?

Cool hmm let me see what I have going on. Where is capital raceway? If it's in md kinda of difficult to get there by 430 in traffic

It is in Crofton, MD.

You have a better chance of getting to Mason Dixon or 75 & 80 on time than going to Capitol.

Haven't been to Capitol in years.

The last time I went on a Friday night I paid $20 and got in the grand total of ONE run in......:mad2:
The place was a friggin' zoo....no control over the staging lanes, people parking their cars anywhere and everywhere, ricers blowing up their crapster Honda motors while doing 30 second rev-limiter bouncing burnouts for their street radials, etc.

I won't go back anytime soon.

75-80 is more la1dback* and they keep the staging lanes organized and clear.


*Jeez....You can't even say l a i dback anymore....:shake:

Last time you were there it was under the old management. The track has greatly improved under new ownership.

I can only hope so.
Capitol is only 10 minutes from my house, yet I drive an hour to run at 75-80.
