Have you ever raced your car before? If so what track and what was your ET, MPH, 60 ft times?

You'll need a helmet if you want to run faster than 13.99 otherwise they will kick you off the track and won't be able to run anymore for that evening.

Drag radials are a must with that much power.
If you don't have widened wheels get them.
I'm running nitto 05r's and will run Mickey's next.
410's are a bit of a waste with the roots blower at your hp imho, several will disagree but :P it's a 99% street car and the roots has so much low end torque I don't see a need for 410's :dunno:
Lower your air pressure and make sure both sides are equal. I went 17lbs on the 555r's (wouldn't hook which is why I went with 05r's)
Don't go for a new land speed record on your first pass. (Let's not wreck the car your insurance doesn't cover you on the track) get a feel for it then balls out on run 2:D
I did warn the guy running the lanes I was a virgin and he was pretty cool. Warned he guy next to me, so the guy didn't go on green. Guess he thought I was going to wreck the both of us:lol:
As far as warming full street tires on burnout :dunno:
Sailsmen has some good threads on what to do at the track

Look inside the helmet and make sure it says at least Snell 2005, it should be under the foam. If it doesn't the track may not accept it.

Running regular tires you may to take it easy especially since it's your first time. You can lower your rear tire psi down some to around 28-30 psi.
You should probably meet up with Whitey and he can show you what to do to get all set up. Being a first timer I would park your car after teching in and watch some races so you'll get an idea of how people are doing stuff and where everything is.

With street tires, make sure you are ready for the 2-3 shift because things get sideways pretty damn quick. With all of that power and torque, the only thing you may be able to do is pedal it down the track.
Have fun and be safe!
I remember my very first run down the track like it was 8 years ago...:D Ran a 12.4 with a .014 RT. It was indeed one of the biggest rushes I have experienced.

If anything is not 100% correct both feet up. You have already blown a good run so abort and go around.
If you are there early or they allow you walk up to the launch pad and look for the groove as well as references on the water box and starting line. Watch the launches of several cars to get an idea.
When you get to the top of the staging lanes focus on the hand signals of the track officials. Tell them it is your first time and they will help you line up.
You will not be able to floor it on launch, walk it out on launch by easing into the throttle.
Good tips;

Were you at a test & tune or a track rental day?
Test & tune nights with the general public, they must follow NHRA rules. Private track rental days, most tracks will advise on what safety gear should be used but won't stop you from running.
