I have a friend that just has his whole car gone through and has a new paint job, at one time there was a diagram as to where to place the Marauder badges on the fendor is it still around.

Most people put them on the fender, about 1 or 2 inches above the body side molding, centered.

Flags forward or flags backward is the question.

What have most folks done.
I think on the early Marauders the flag was shaft forward/flapping flag towards rear of car.
Anyone have pics of their install?

I've seen others put the badges higher and closer to the door

IMHO.... too low and too far forward.

I put '64 fender badges on my '04 SB in the same orientation as on my '64.

My understanding is that a flag should be "flown" with the staff-side forward...IOW, if it were an actual flag, it would fly to the rear of the vehicle when it was moving forward.

BTW, I like yours a lot, Quicksilver...

Thanks for the compliments. This one doesn't have any flags on it but is another Marauder of mine ('70 X100)
